Learn About Docs For Tots Florida

Docs For Tots Florida (DFT FL) is a growing network of doctors advocating for young children in Florida.  Efforts in Florida support work related to the Kellogg Maternal, Infant and Toddler Mental Health Advocacy Project and the Mailman Infant and Toddler Support Project. 

Our policy initiative in Florida helps mobilize and support physicians to advocate for quality early childcare and education and early childhood mental health.  Specifically, we work to provide physicians with information to help them:

• Influence the systems that impact young children and their families;
• Raise awareness of infant and toddler mental health issues and policies;
• Support programs, organizations and policies that have a positive impact on infant and toddler mental health;
• Support programs, organizations and policies that promote high quality early care and education; and
• Increase the visibility of children’s doctors as advocates for such policies.
