Will you tell your elected officials to support strong families and early learning?
(H.R. 2343/S. 667) provides the first federal supports dedicated for the creation, or expansion, of proven home visiting programs. Home visitation has shown to be a strong factor for overall school readiness and serves as a key prevention factor of child abuse, criminal justice, and health factors. Lead sponsors are Rep. Danny Davis (D-IL) and Todd Platts (R-PA) along with Senators Christopher Bond (R-MO) and Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-NY).
