For Pediatric Residents and Program Directors

DFTNY is available to provide interactive noon conferences, grand rounds, and consulting around Child Advocacy. Assistance in the structuring of Child Advocacy and Community Pediatrics Rotations and in linking programs with projects and organizations as well as fulfilling ACGME requirements in community pediatrics is available. Contact dlieser@docsfortots.org for further information. Please feel free to utilize information on this site for your teaching program, just keep us posted! (The Advocacy Toolkit for Doctors has received very positive feedback from many residents)

The Accrediation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) delineates requirements for pediatric residency programs. Compliance is stringently monitored through a very comprehensive system. View the ACGME requirements and for more information, read: An Untapped Resource: Collaborating with Pediatric Residency Programs.
