What is Student Docs For Tots?

SDFT is a project of the national child advocacy organization Docs For Tots (DFT), which believes doctors have a unique ability to advocate for children beyond clinical walls. Doctors have resonant voices among parents, legislators, and the media, and DFT seeks to give doctors the opportunity to speak up for children.

Student Docs For Tots (SDFT) was created to empower medical students with the skills and knowledge necessary to become doctors who advocate for children.

But why wait until you are a doctor? Medical students can advocate for children now. SDFT wants to give the same kind of advocacy training, support, opportunities, and experience to medical students.
