Dr. Robert Zarr is an avid child advocate in Washington D. C. He is a collaborator with the DC Department of Transportation Safe and Secure Child Passenger Safety Program, a co-facilitator with Community Access to Child Health of District of Columbia, a member of the executive board of the DC Chapter of the AAP, a board member for the Physicians for a National Health Program, an Assistant Clinical Professor at Georgetown University, and the Chief of Pediatrics at Unity Health Center in Washington D.C.
Dr. Zarr received his M.D. from Baylor College of Medicine, the school where he also did his pediatric residency. He also has a MPH from The University of Texas School of Public Health. His 2006 publications include two articles in Visual Diagnosis in Pediatrics, as well as an article in the Journal of Health Care for the Poor and Underserved about the effects of transportation on access to health care. Dr. Zarr is fluent in Spanish.
